Porcelain, Gold & Ceramic Crowns

Crowns are designed to cover or “cap” an entire tooth or dental implant. They are used to repair teeth with severe tooth decay that which otherwise could not be repaired with a filling, inlay, onlay or used to replicate a tooth that has been replaced by an implant. Our crowns can be made from either gold, ceramics, or porcelain fused to a metal base depending on the clinical scenario, and are crafted out of office at the same labs we use for our inlays and onlays..

Porcelain & Gold Bridges

As crowns are designed to cover or “cap” a single tooth, bridges or formally referred to as a “fixed partial denture” are designed to replace a missing span of teeth while “capping” two existing teeth at either end. A bridge is an excellent way to replace one or multiple missing teeth while still providing excellent esthetics. Like crowns, depending on the clinical scenario, our bridges are made from either gold or porcelain fused to a metal base.

While bridges are permanently cemented into the mouth, they require additional care to maintain good hygiene above and beyond that of your natural teeth. Our dentists and staff are more than happy to help you with any of these hygiene needs
