Endodontics aka “Root Canal Therapy”

Endodontics, literally meaning “inside the tooth”, are the dental treatments focused on repairing a diseased tooth by means of removing all or part of the pulp.  More commonly known as “Root Canal Therapy”, part or all of a tooth’s pulp is removed when it becomes irreversibly infected and treating it with medications or other dental procedures is no longer an option.  After a “root canal” has been performed, the tooth is most often restored with a full coverage crown.

Contrary to old stereotypes, endodontic procedures are a painless experience and our dentists are fully trained and eager to provide this service for you.
