Celebrating 60 years of service in the City of Yorkville!
Gruber & Associates Dentistry and the City of Yorkville have shared their history for over 60 years! In 1959 Dr. Joseph Gruber II, completed his dental studies at the University of Illinois at Chicago’s College of Dentistry and served as an US Air Force dentist for 2 years. After his military service, in 1961, he purchased an existing dental practice on Hydraulic Street where he practiced for the next 12 years.
In 1973, due to the growing demands of his practice he moved to a larger office in the newly built Bank of Yorkville building in Countryside Center. in 1988, Dr. Gruber’s son, Dr. Joseph Gruber III, also graduated from the University of Illinois at Chicago College of Dentistry, and joined forces with his father. Together, they practiced for nearly 10 years.
As dentistry evolved and progressed through the decades, so did Gruber and Associates, continuing to serve the dental needs of Yorkville and its surrounding communities.
In 2006, Gruber and Associates moved to a new office building at 302 Countryside Parkway where they continue to practice today. In a world where local services are overtaken by corporate entities, we are proud to live and work and give back to our community. We appreciate every patient and welcome new patients every day.
